The point of using Eiusm Tempo is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, tempo here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Eiusm Tempo as their default model text, and a search for ‘eiusm tempo’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).

There are many variations of passages of Eiusm Tempo available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don’t look even slightly believable.
